Sweet but not very smart

It's Daisy Charlotte Miles!  She was such a cute puppy.  She's still pretty cute, but she just doesn't seem very bright.  The most annoying habit is sucking on the couch cushions.  Blech.  Another is staring at the ground waiting for a bit of anything to blow across the yard so she can chase it.

Not sure what I'll do with them.  I can't be the only one who loves to buy fabric but hates to use it.

What have I done

I love to take photos.  As a journalism major in college (in the late '80s, eek!) I took a photography class and loved it!  My first newspaper job involved taking photos and developing all the film for print.  Obviously this was back the "olden days" when the cheapest digital cameras were thousands of dollars. 

Back in December I bought a beautiful beast of a camera:

And it scares me!!  It's definitely more camera than I need, but it's exactly what I want :)  I'm determined to find a local DSLR class and figure out this bad boy.
